This is a ready-to-use cosmetic body massage oil supplied in a 250 ml bottle. The formula combines a vegetable oil base with natural lavender essential oil (Lavandula angustifolia). It is meant for body massage, aroma massage and SPA rituals, not for medical use.
There is no fixed amount because the right quantity depends on the size of the area and how much pressure you use. A practical approach is to pour a small amount — about a teaspoon for one arm, leg or similar area — into one palm. Rub your palms together for a few seconds to warm the oil slightly, then spread it over the skin with long, even strokes.
This product contains natural lavender essential oil, and essential oils can be problematic for people with very sensitive or easily reactive skin. Being a natural cosmetic does not guarantee it suits everyone, so caution is appropriate.
Body lotion and massage oil are not the same texture, and they are used for different purposes. A typical lotion is lighter and absorbs into the skin fairly quickly. This massage oil is oil-based, so it remains on the surface for longer. That longer glide is the main reason it works well for massage: your hands do less dragging, and you do not need to stop constantly to reapply.
