How much oil should I use and how should I apply it during a massage?

KEHAMASSAAŽI ÕLI "LAVENDEL" 250ML

There is no fixed amount because the right quantity depends on the size of the area and how much pressure you use. A practical approach is to pour a small amount — about a teaspoon for one arm, leg or similar area — into one palm. Rub your palms together for a few seconds to warm the oil slightly, then spread it over the skin with long, even strokes.

If your hands begin to pull or drag, add a little more oil. It is easier to start with less and top up than to remove an overly thick layer. For a full back massage, expect to use noticeably more than for a foot or hand massage. Apply just enough to create a smooth glide without leaving heavy pools of oil on the skin.

This product is not designed to soak in immediately, so a thin even layer is normally enough. After the massage, excess oil can be left on the skin to soften it, blotted with a towel, or washed off if you prefer a lighter finish. You can also apply a regular body lotion or cream afterwards if your skin feels dry, though this is not required.

This oil suits evening self-massage, partner massage and salon-style body work when you want the session to feel calm. Use it only externally, do not apply near the eyes, and stop using it if any irritation appears.
