Pro-1 Body Massage Oil Ginger 250 ml is a cosmetic body oil designed to make massage smoother, more pleasant and more sensorial. People usually choose this type of massage oil when they want good glide for manual massage, a softer skin feel after application, and a warm, spicy aroma that helps create a more energising mood.
What it is
The formula is based on a blend of vegetable oils. In practical terms, these oils form a light emollient layer on the skin, which reduces drag during massage and helps hands move more easily without pulling. This improves the massage experience and leaves the skin feeling supple rather than dry. The ginger note adds the character of the product: its scent is warm, lively and slightly spicy, so it works especially well when you want a more stimulating atmosphere instead of a neutral or sweet aroma.
Ginger has a long tradition of use in body rituals and aromatic blends because of its distinctly warming sensory profile. In a massage oil, this does not mean a medical effect; rather, it refers to the pleasant impression the fragrance creates during application.
When people choose it
- For evening self-massage or use after a long day, when you want massage to feel more reviving and less passive.
- For those who enjoy aromatic body oils and want a massage texture with enough slip for longer movements across larger areas such as the back, shoulders, legs or arms.
- For anyone who uses massage oils mainly for skin feel, since the vegetable oil base helps the skin feel smoother and more conditioned after the session.
Important notes
As with any fragranced cosmetic oil, it is best to be cautious if your skin is very reactive or if you are sensitive to essential oils or perfume components.
- Use only on intact skin.
- Avoid the eye area.
- Stop use if irritation or allergy appears.

Customer Questions
Start with a teaspoon-sized amount (about 5–10 ml) poured into clean, dry palms. Rub your hands together briefly to bring the oil close to skin temperature — this improves glide and makes the ginger aroma more noticeable without being overwhelming. Apply to the area you want to massage (back, shoulders, legs, or arms) using long, even strokes with moderate pressure. The vegetable-oil base creates a light emollient layer that reduces drag, so your hands move smoothly without pulling the skin. For a full-body or extended session you will likely need to reapply once or twice; simply add another small portion rather than pouring a large quantity at once, which can make the skin feel overly slick. After the massage, the oil absorbs gradually and leaves the skin feeling supple rather than dry. If you prefer less residue, you can wipe excess with a warm damp cloth or rinse in a lukewarm shower. Use only on intact skin and avoid the eye area.
This product is a fragranced cosmetic oil. Its scent comes from a ginger note that typically includes essential-oil constituents and perfume components, both of which are common triggers for contact sensitivity. If you have a history of reactions to fragranced body products, perform a patch test before the first full application: dab a few drops on the inner forearm, cover loosely, and wait 24 hours. Check for redness, itching, burning, or swelling. The vegetable-oil base itself is generally well tolerated and leaves the skin feeling conditioned, but the aromatic ingredients remain on the skin surface and can provoke a reaction in reactive individuals. The manufacturer advises using the oil only on intact skin, avoiding the eye area, and discontinuing immediately if irritation or allergy appears. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or under dermatological care, consult your specialist before introducing a new fragranced body oil into your routine.
Although designed for massage, the same vegetable-oil blend works well as a post-shower body oil. After patting the skin dry but while it is still slightly damp, pour a few drops into your palm, warm briefly, and spread over arms, legs, and torso using broad strokes. The residual moisture helps the oil distribute evenly and reduces the amount needed. Absorption is slower than a water-based lotion, so allow a few minutes before dressing; the skin finishes feeling supple and smooth rather than greasy. The ginger aroma remains noticeable for a couple of hours and then fades to a faint warm trace. Because the product does not contain humectants like glycerin or hyaluronic acid, it seals in existing moisture rather than adding hydration — for very dry skin you may prefer to layer a light body lotion first, then seal with this oil. Avoid applying to broken or freshly shaved skin where the fragrance could sting.
Vegetable-oil-based massage oils are prone to oxidation when exposed to heat, light, and air. Store the 250 ml bottle upright with the cap screwed on tightly, ideally in a cupboard or drawer away from radiators, windows, and direct sunlight. A bathroom shelf is acceptable only if the room stays cool and the bottle is not left open during showers. Most cosmetic oils carry a period-after-opening (PAO) symbol — typically 6 or 12 months — printed on the label or carton; follow that timeframe. Over time the oil may develop a rancid, crayon-like smell or become noticeably thicker; these are signs it has oxidized and should be discarded. Do not transfer the oil to a clear glass bottle unless it is amber or cobalt blue, and never add water or other liquids, which accelerate spoilage. If the product looks and smells normal but you are past the PAO window, it is safer to replace it.
