Farmgrupp Ascorbic Acid with Rutin Forte (Ascorutin) is a dietary supplement combining two complementary nutrients: vitamin C (ascorbic acid, 70 mg per tablet / 117% NRV) and rutin (quercetin-3-O-rutinoside, 30 mg per tablet / 100% NRV). Vitamin C is an essential water-soluble vitamin. Vitamin C contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress, to the maintenance of normal immune function, to normal collagen formation for normal function of blood vessels, skin, bones, cartilage, gums and teeth, to normal energy-yielding metabolism, to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, and contributes to increasing iron absorption. Rutin is a naturally occurring bioflavonoid (glycoside of quercetin) found in buckwheat, citrus peel and many other plants, often combined with vitamin C as a complementary antioxidant compound. Each tablet contains glucose, ascorbic acid and rutin; talc (E553ii) is used as an excipient. Recommended as a source of supplementary vitamin C and rutin.
