The support features an elastic reinforcing rib for structured stabilisation of the ankle joint, applied with a side Velcro fastener directly on the skin or over a thin sock. Size 4 is suitable for larger foot and ankle circumferences (approximately foot length 33–42 cm range — see packaging size chart for precise measurements). The elastic rib provides lateral ankle stabilisation and structural support. Used for ankle joint support and stabilisation during rehabilitation following sprains, ligament injuries and removal of plaster casts, and for prophylactic support in sports and physically demanding occupations.
