Mirrolla "03 Series" Ketoconazole Cream is a topical cosmetic foot and nail care cream from the Mirrolla "03" professional care range, formulated with ketoconazole as the principal active ingredient, combined with conditioning and moisturising base components. Ketoconazole is a synthetic imidazole derivative developed as a broad-spectrum antifungal agent; at the topical cosmetic level, it acts by inhibiting ergosterol biosynthesis in the cell membrane of fungi and yeasts, which disrupts membrane permeability and structure. The cream is formulated to penetrate the skin and nail plate surfaces. Ketoconazole has established antifungal efficacy in topical use against dermatophytes (Trichophyton, Microsporum, Epidermophyton), Candida species and Malassezia furfur (the yeast responsible for seborrheic dermatitis and pityriasis versicolor).
