Silapant Rejuvenating and Moisturising Day Face Cream is a cosmetic facial day cream from the Silapant range, built around the signature active ingredient pantohematogen — a bioactive extract derived from the velvet antlers (panty) of young Altai red deer (maral, Cervus elaphus sibiricus) that are carefully harvested during the period of active spring growth using humane, non-injurious methods. Velvet antler and pantohematogen contain a complex of naturally occurring growth factors, amino acids, collagen precursor peptides, macro- and trace minerals and organ-specific bioactive compounds. In cosmetics, pantohematogen is valued as a multifunctional skin-conditioning active with high bioavailability. The formula also contains sorbitol as a natural humectant and moisture-binding agent; sorbitol is a polyol that functions as an excellent skin-hydrating and softening component. The cream additionally contains a mineral UV filter for basic daytime photoprotection. The formula is designed for mature, dry or normal skin.
