What This Product Is
HERBAL TRADITIONS Sauna- ja vannileotis "Lõõgastav aroom", 500 ml is an aromatic bath and sauna additive designed to turn heat and water rituals into a calmer, more soothing experience. People usually choose this kind of product when they want more than warm water alone: the scent changes the atmosphere of the room, makes the bath feel more spa-like, and helps the mind switch from haste to rest.
Key Aromatic Components
The effect comes mainly from essential oils that release their aroma especially well in warm water and steam.
- Clary sage oil gives the blend a soft, herbal tone often associated with unwinding.
- Peppermint oil adds a light cooling freshness, so the scent does not feel heavy or overly sweet.
- Citronella brings a bright, green note that makes the composition livelier and more balanced.
In a bath, the fragrance rises with the warmth; in a sauna or steam room, the vapour spreads it through the air more quickly, shaping the whole sensory impression rather than acting only on the skin.
How and When to Use It
What makes this Herbal Traditions bath and sauna infusion interesting is its flexible use. It suits a range of settings and moments:
- A classic home bath
- A steam room session
- A Finnish sauna ritual with water poured over stones
- An evening soak or a slower weekend sauna session
- Any moment when you want the space to feel quieter and more grounded
Similar aromatic preparations have long been used in bathhouse traditions to enrich the atmosphere and make the session feel more immersive.
Important Notes
Because this is a concentrated aromatic cosmetic, use it as directed and with a little extra attention:
- Avoid getting it into the eyes.
- Keep in mind that strong heat can intensify fragrance.
- Not suitable for small children.
- If you are prone to sensitivity, start with a smaller amount first.

Customer Questions
HERBAL TRADITIONS Sauna- ja vannileotis “Lõõgastav aroom” is designed for bath and sauna rituals where warmth helps release the scent of its essential oils into the surrounding air. In a home bath, add it to the bath water according to the label instructions, then let the warmth disperse the aroma before and during the soak. This makes the bath feel more atmospheric than plain warm water without needing to apply the product directly to the skin.
The scent profile comes mainly from essential oils that release their aroma well in warm water and steam. Clary sage oil gives the blend a soft herbal character, peppermint oil adds a light cooling freshness, and citronella brings a brighter green note. Together, these components create an aromatic impression that is herbal and fresh rather than sugary, floral-heavy or overly dense.
Use extra care if you are prone to fragrance sensitivity, have easily irritated skin, or generally react strongly to essential oils. The blend contains clary sage oil, peppermint oil and citronella, and warm water or sauna steam can make aromatic ingredients feel more intense than they do at room temperature. Starting with a smaller amount than you might otherwise use is a practical way to check comfort before making the scent stronger.
