OstroVit Copper Bisglycinate is a food supplement containing copper in the form of chelated copper bisglycinate. Copper is an essential trace element that contributes to the normal function of the immune system and nervous system, normal energy-yielding metabolism and the maintenance of normal connective tissues.
Copper contributes to normal hair and skin pigmentation and contributes to normal iron transport in the body. Copper also contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. Copper bisglycinate is a compound of copper and the amino acid glycine, used as a chelated form in mineral food supplements.
One capsule contains 2 mg of copper, which corresponds to 200% of the nutrient reference value (NRV). The food supplement with a plant-based capsule shell is suitable for adults to supplement their daily copper intake. The pack contains 120 capsules, which is enough for 120 days.
