Nevskaya Kosmetika Olive-Glycerine Hand Cream is a lightweight nourishing cosmetic hand cream from the Nevskaya Kosmetika range, formulated with two fundamental skin-care actives — natural olive oil and glycerine — for the daily care, moisturisation and restoration of the natural protective barrier of hand skin. Natural olive oil (Olea europaea) is a rich source of oleic acid (omega-9 monounsaturated fatty acid), squalene, vitamin E (tocopherols), polyphenols (hydroxytyrosol, oleuropein) and vitamin K; it nourishes the skin, replenishes lipids in the skin barrier and provides emollient softening. Natural glycerine (glycerol) is one of the most fundamental and effective cosmetic humectants, attracting and retaining atmospheric water at the skin surface, reducing transepidermal water loss and maintaining skin hydration throughout the day. The combination of the lipid-barrier-supporting action of olive oil and the hydration-retaining action of glycerine provides a synergistic approach to restoring and maintaining the natural protective barrier of hand skin.
