Novy Zhemchug Chamomile Toothpaste 50ml is a fluoride toothpaste from the Novy Zhemchug (Новый Жемчуг / "New Pearl") range by Nevskaya Kosmetika (Russia), one of the most established and widely trusted toothpaste brands in Russia and the Baltic region. The Chamomile variant is enriched with chamomile extract (Matricaria chamomilla), known for its cosmetic soothing and conditioning properties that contribute to gum comfort and overall oral hygiene. The toothpaste gently and effectively removes dental plaque, contributes to the prevention of caries, and helps maintain healthy, firm gums. With regular use, it helps to reduce enamel sensitivity. The formula has a mild, fresh mint aroma. Suitable for daily use from the age of 14. For twice-daily brushing. 50 ml.

What it is
Nevskaya Kosmetika Novy Zhemchug Chamomile Toothpaste 50 ml is a fluoride toothpaste for oral hygiene that combines cavity protection with a gentler feel for the gums. People usually choose this type of formula when they want a classic mint toothpaste that cleans well, helps keep plaque under control, and is also suitable when teeth react to cold, hot or sweet foods.
Key components
- Sodium fluoride — the main active. Fluoride works on the tooth surface: it helps enamel take up minerals more effectively and makes it more resistant to acids formed by plaque bacteria after meals. In simple terms, it strengthens vulnerable areas of enamel and helps reduce the risk of new weak spots developing over time. This is why fluoride toothpastes remain a standard choice for reliable home use.
- Chamomile extract (Matricaria chamomilla) — valued in cosmetic and hygiene products for its soothing and conditioning properties. In a toothpaste, it is included not to replace brushing, but to make the formula feel milder for the soft tissues of the mouth. This can be especially appealing if you prefer a less harsh brushing experience or want a toothpaste that suits gums that are easily irritated by stronger products.
Who it suits
Novy Zhemchug Chamomile Toothpaste also fits well as an option for teenagers aged 14+ and adults who want an uncomplicated fluoride toothpaste in a compact 50 ml size for home, work or travel. The mild mint scent gives freshness without an overly intense aftertaste, so it can be a practical pick for those who dislike very strong mint formulas.
Important notes
As with any fluoride toothpaste, use it only as intended for brushing and do not swallow it. If you have marked tooth sensitivity, irritated gums, wear orthodontic appliances, or are choosing oral hygiene products on a dentist's advice, it is sensible to match the toothpaste to your personal needs.
