What This Collar Does
The Toros Kaelatugi suurus 710 - 3 is an orthopedic neck collar designed to limit excessive movement of the cervical area and help keep the head in a more neutral position. It works in a simple mechanical way: reducing the range of sudden bending, turning, and extension, while redistributing part of the load from the neck muscles. This may help ease the feeling of tension in the cervical spine and reduce the urge to hold the head in an awkward position.
Size and Fit
Size 3 has a 10 cm height and is intended for adults. The height matters because an orthopedic collar should gently match the proportions of the neck — if the fit is suitable, the product can provide steadier positioning without unnecessary pressure. This kind of cervical collar is typically considered in situations where a person needs temporary restriction of movement rather than active compression.
When People Choose This Collar
People usually reach for this type of aid in situations such as:
- After a strain or overexertion — when the neck feels overloaded and calmer, more controlled movement is recommended
- During recovery — when the cervical area should be kept relatively still for a time, including after a procedure
- Prolonged sitting or travel — when the neck feels more vulnerable and extra stability is helpful
Toros orthopedic products are commonly used as practical rehabilitation aids at home or on medical advice.
Important Notes Before Use
Because a neck collar changes head and neck positioning, it should be selected carefully and worn as directed. If pain is severe, symptoms spread to the arms, or the cause of discomfort is unclear, it is best to consult a doctor or physiotherapist before use.

Customer Questions
The Toros Kaelatugi suurus 710 - 3 is size 3 with a 10 cm collar height and is described as intended for adults. Height is the main fit dimension mentioned in the product information, so it is not the same as the circumference of your neck — if you need to know whether the collar goes fully around, you should compare it with your own measurement or try it on.
The product information states that this collar is meant to limit excessive movement and to be used in situations such as after neck strain, during recovery, or during prolonged sitting and travel. It does not give a specific number of hours per day, which is important: how long you wear it depends on why you are using it and on professional advice. A doctor or physiotherapist can set a schedule based on your situation and gradually reduce the wearing time as the neck becomes more stable.
If you are thinking about using this collar while sleeping, the first thing to know is that the product is designed to reduce the range of sudden bending, turning, and extension. When you lie down, especially on your side, your head can easily turn against the collar, which may cause pressure on the jaw or throat. The product information does not mention sleeping as an intended use, so it is safer to treat sleep as something to discuss with a doctor or physiotherapist. They can tell you whether a different type of support is more appropriate for overnight use.
