"LAUMA" medical elastic compression bandage, model 2, is a high-stretch bandage for supporting limbs and providing compression. Suitable for daily use, during the recovery period, and as additional support during physical activity or active movement.
The special knitting technology helps preserve the properties of the bandage even during long-term and intensive use. The metal fastener helps keep the bandage in the desired position.
PROPERTIES:
- Size - 3.5 m x 10 cm
- High stretchability up to 170%
- Composition - cotton 96%, elastane 4%
USE: Use as needed to support limbs and provide compression.
CARE: Wash in soap foam at a temperature up to +40 °C, rinse in warm water and dry in a towel without wringing. Dry on a horizontal surface. Do not use synthetic detergents. Dry away from heating devices and direct sunlight. Ironing is not recommended.
WARNINGS: Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to the materials. In case of discomfort, irritation or any other unwanted reaction, discontinue use and consult a specialist.
STORAGE: Store at a temperature from +5 ºC to +25 ºC, in a dry, dark place, out of reach of children.

What the Bandage Does
LAUMA elastic compression bandage, model 2, is a highly stretchable medical bandage for supporting limbs and creating compression. It can be used in everyday life, during recovery, during physical activity or active movement, when joints, muscles and soft tissues need additional fixation.
The main task of such a bandage is to help fix the necessary area and distribute pressure evenly. This may be useful after exertion, with a feeling of instability, during recovery or in situations where it is necessary to reduce excess mobility of an area without rigid immobilization. High stretchability up to 170% allows the bandage to adapt well to the shape of the body without creating the feeling of a rough dressing.
Materials and Construction
A separate advantage of LAUMA is its special knitting technology, which helps preserve the properties of the bandage even with long-term and intensive use. The bandage combines:
- 96% cotton — makes the bandage more pleasant to the skin
- 4% elastane — responsible for stretchability and shape recovery
- Metal fastener — keeps the bandage in the desired position so that the dressing does not slip during movement
How Compression Works
Compression products work through external pressure on tissues. In medical practice, compression is used to support venous outflow, reduce excess mobility and provide additional stabilization of the application area.
It is important to apply the bandage without excessive tension: compression should support, not squeeze. If any of the following occur, the bandage should be removed immediately:
- Numbness
- Pronounced discomfort
- Change in skin colour
- Increased pain
