Will the brown shade look too dark or too red on my brows and lashes?

The shade is designed to give a natural-looking brown that suits auburn, chestnut, and a wide range of brunette colouring. It reads softer than black while still adding definition. However, the final tone depends on your starting hair colour, porosity, and how long you leave the mixture on. On very light or porous hairs the colour can develop darker and slightly warmer; on darker, resistant hairs it may appear more subtle. A practical way to preview: after mixing, apply a tiny amount to a single brow hair or a few lash tips (using a cotton swab), wait the minimum development time, then wipe off and assess. If it looks too intense, shorten the processing time on the full application; if too light, you can extend by a minute or two, but never exceed the maximum time stated in the leaflet. Remember that freshly tinted hairs often appear darker for the first 24 hours as the pigment fully oxidises.
