Why does this balm include beeswax and sea buckthorn oil alongside the warming agents?

While capsaicin and camphor provide the primary warming sensation, the base of the balm is formulated to manage how that heat is delivered and how the skin reacts to it. Beeswax serves a structural purpose by creating a thin, breathable film on the skin's surface. This film helps to "lock in" the warming actives, preventing them from evaporating or rubbing off too quickly on clothing. This allows the heat to feel more sustained and deep-seated rather than a sharp, fleeting spike of temperature.

The inclusion of sea buckthorn oil and Mumio (shilajit) addresses the potential for skin dryness. Intensive warming products can sometimes be harsh on the skin barrier when used repeatedly. Sea buckthorn oil is rich in lipids that help maintain skin softness, while Mumio is a traditional mineral-organic substance that provides a complex profile of micronutrients. Together, they ensure that areas like the elbows, knees, and calves—which often have thicker, drier skin—remain conditioned even with regular use of the balm. The clove and eucalyptus essential oils further complement this by providing an aromatic experience and a penetrating feel during the initial massage. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease.
