Which plant extracts are in the formula and what do they do?

The formula is built around a complex of ten plants, with three extracts playing the leading roles:

  • Bryonia alba root (white bryony) — a traditional warming, counter-irritant botanical. On the skin it creates a noticeable local sensation of warmth, which is why the area being massaged can feel looser and more relaxed during application.
  • Comfrey extract — a classic European plant whose extract contains allantoin, mucilage polysaccharides and rosmarinic acid. In cosmetics these components are valued for softening and conditioning the skin, which matters when a product is applied with repeated massage strokes.
  • Marsh cinquefoil extract — a herb traditionally added to balms made for active people and for use after physical strain.

Together with the rest of the plant complex, these extracts form a massage-friendly base: the cream spreads easily and gives enough glide for circular movements without dragging the skin. Keep in mind that a counter-irritant warming effect is felt on the skin surface — if your skin is reactive, try the cream first on a small area to see how strong the sensation is for you.
