When is this cream most useful, and how should I fit it into a daily routine?

This cream is aimed at hands that regularly feel dry, rough or tight — typically after repeated washing, outdoor walks in cold air, household chores or a day in office air-conditioning. If your hands feel fine with a light lotion, you may not need a formula this nourishing; it is designed for skin that asks for more.

A simple routine that works well with this type of cream:

  • After washing — apply a small amount to slightly damp skin. This is the moment when moisture loss is highest, so reinforcing the lipid layer right away is most effective.
  • Before going outside in cold or windy weather — give the cream a few minutes to absorb before putting on gloves or leaving the house.
  • In the evening — a slightly more generous layer can be left to work overnight, when your hands are not being washed or exposed.

The formula also suits the cuticle area and nails when they tend to look dry or neglected: massage a little into the skin around each nail. Keeping the tube somewhere visible — by the sink, on the desk, in a coat pocket — makes it much easier to reapply consistently, and with hand creams consistency matters more than the amount used per application. For household chores involving water or detergents, wearing protective gloves and applying the cream afterwards gives better results than relying on the cream alone.
