What should I do if my scalp itches, turns red, or the product gets in my eyes?

If the conditioner contacts your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of lukewarm water for at least 15 minutes — do not rub. For scalp reactions (itching, redness, burning), discontinue use and rinse the area thoroughly with water. The formula contains active botanical extracts (lupin, maca) and the Trichogen® complex; while generally well tolerated, sensitive or barrier-compromised skin can react to any cosmetic ingredient. Before full use, do a patch test: apply a pea-sized amount behind the ear or on the inner forearm, leave for 10 minutes, rinse, and wait 24 hours. If no reaction occurs, proceed. Introduce only one new intensive hair product at a time so you can identify the trigger if irritation appears. Do not apply to broken, sunburned, or freshly chemically treated scalp (e.g., after a perm or relaxer) until the skin has fully recovered. If irritation persists beyond 48 hours, consult a dermatologist or pharmacist.
