After shampooing, squeeze excess water from the hair so the product isn’t diluted. Dispense a walnut-to-golf-ball amount (depending on length and density) into your palm, emulsify, and distribute from mid-lengths to ends — the oldest, most fragile zones. For fine hair that loses body, keep the product off the root area to avoid weighing it down. Leave it on for 2–3 minutes; for very brittle or long hair you can extend to 5–10 minutes as an intensive mask once a week. While the conditioner is in, gently detangle with a wide-tooth comb or your fingers starting at the tips and working upward — this is when the slip from Trichogen® and the lupin extract most reduces breakage. Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water until the hair feels clean but not squeaky. Use every wash or 2–3 times a week; daily use is safe because the formula is free from heavy mineral oils and parabens.

This conditioner is designed for the hair fibre, not the scalp, so it fits into a routine that includes topical medicines. If you use minoxidil or another medicated solution, apply it to a clean, dry scalp and let it absorb fully (usually 2–4 hours) before washing or conditioning. When you do wash, shampoo the scalp, then apply this conditioner only from mid-lengths down so it doesn’t interfere with the medicine’s residue or clog follicles. For protein treatments (hydrolysed keratin, wheat, silk), alternate weeks rather than layering in the same session — too much protein can make hair stiff and prone to snapping, which defeats the purpose of the Trichogen® complex’s smoothing action. Oral supplements (biotin, zinc, iron) work systemically and are complementary; they don’t replace the topical conditioning this product provides. If you colour or heat-style, the paraben-free, mineral-oil-free base helps maintain colour vibrancy and reduces further thermal damage.

If the conditioner contacts your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of lukewarm water for at least 15 minutes — do not rub. For scalp reactions (itching, redness, burning), discontinue use and rinse the area thoroughly with water. The formula contains active botanical extracts (lupin, maca) and the Trichogen® complex; while generally well tolerated, sensitive or barrier-compromised skin can react to any cosmetic ingredient. Before full use, do a patch test: apply a pea-sized amount behind the ear or on the inner forearm, leave for 10 minutes, rinse, and wait 24 hours. If no reaction occurs, proceed.
