What result can I realistically expect on my current hair color — medium brown, light blonde, or gray?

On medium brown hair the shampoo deposits a rich warm-red reflection that reads as a subtle ruby shimmer in sunlight rather than a solid red color. On light blonde or bleached hair the lighter, more porous base lets the pigment sit closer to the surface, so the cherry tone appears brighter and more saturated — sometimes close to a true red-violet depending on how pale the blonde is. Gray or white hairs are highly porous and lack melanin, so they absorb pigment readily; the tint can make scattered grays blend in with a reddish cast, but if you have a high percentage of gray the result may look patchy or intensely red on those strands. Because the product does not lighten hair, it cannot create a cherry shade on dark brown or black bases — you will only see a faint reddish highlight in direct light. Always do a strand test on a hidden section first, especially if your hair is bleached, highlighted, or chemically treated.
