Lodjapuumarjad 50 g Horst is a package of dried viburnum (Viburnum opulus) berries. These are plain, selected whole berries with no additives, suitable for people who prefer to compose their own herbal tea blends or use plant material in the kitchen. The berries naturally contain vitamin C, P vitamins (bioflavonoids), pectins, organic acids, tannins, and anthocyanins — the natural pigments that give them their dark red color. Their slightly bitter taste comes from a glycoside called viburnin.
You can use them in several ways:
As a single-ingredient tea: crush one tablespoon of berries, pour 250 ml of boiling water over them, cover, and let steep for 15–20 minutes.
As a stronger decoction: simmer the berries gently for 10 minutes, strain, and sweeten with honey if you want to soften the bitterness.
In a herbal blend with rosehips, lingonberry, chamomile, linden flowers, or raspberry leaves.
In cooking — for example, in kissel, jam, syrup, or pastry fillings.
Because these dried berries are a concentrated botanical material, it is sensible to use them in moderate amounts. This product is not a substitute for a balanced diet and is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease. If you are pregnant, have a chronic condition, or take medication, consult a specialist before regular use.
