Why exactly the MK-7 form was chosen and how it differs from K1, the card does not explain. According to the card, the vitamin K in the composition is menaquinone-7 (MK-7) from Bacillus subtilis natto (soy); one tablet contains 75 µg (100 % RI) of it. On the role of vitamin K the card says this: it contributes to normal blood clotting and to the maintenance of normal bones. The product should not be used by people taking anticoagulants that contain vitamin K antagonists.
General information (not a manufacturer's claim): vitamin K affects blood clotting, so the supplement must not be started without a doctor while taking blood-thinning medicines; the composition lists soy, which matters with an allergy to it.
