Which areas of the body should the balm be applied to, and how should it be done?

FBT Tiibeti Palsam is applied locally to areas of tension: the neck, shoulders, back, lower back, knees and elbows. A small amount of balm is rubbed in with light massaging movements until absorbed – this enhances the warming effect and helps the formula penetrate the skin better.

A few practical points:

  • First use. If your skin tends to be sensitive, apply a small amount to a limited area and wait 15–20 minutes. Menthol and the warming ingredients produce a pronounced sensation – make sure it feels comfortable for you.
  • What to avoid. Do not apply the balm to mucous membranes, around the eyes or to damaged, irritated or inflamed skin. Wash your hands thoroughly after application.
  • Allergies and sensitivity. The formula includes bee product components and active warming substances – take particular care if you are known to be sensitive to them. If you have a chronic condition or are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a specialist before use.
  • After training or physical exertion. The balm is handy for applying to muscles that feel tight after active movement or long physical work. If your skin is hot, let it cool down a little before application.
  • Storage. Keep the tube at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and heat sources – this keeps the formula stable.
