My skin is quite sensitive and reactive. How should I introduce this cream to avoid irritation?

Start by applying a small amount to a discreet area like behind your ear or on your inner forearm for a few days to check for any adverse reaction. If your skin tolerates it, begin by using the cream just two or three times a week, perhaps in the evening, and observe how your skin feels the next day. The formula contains several ingredients known to be generally well-tolerated, like panthenol and allantoin, which help soften and calm the skin.

However, it also includes niacinamide, which strengthens the skin barrier but can cause temporary flushing or tingling in a small number of people when first introduced. If you experience this, reduce frequency or mix a pea-sized amount with a simpler moisturiser you already know is safe for you, then gradually increase the proportion of the new cream over a couple of weeks. Always avoid applying it too close to the eyes. If you already use strong exfoliating acids or retinoids in your routine, be mindful of combining them, as overloading active ingredients can compromise even resilient skin. Discontinue use if persistent redness, itching, or discomfort occurs.
