Can this cream-balm be used on very sensitive skin, during pregnancy or on children?

The cream-balm is a cosmetic product, not a medicinal one. Its formula includes plant ingredients: aloe extract and flaxseed oil. Most people tolerate such ingredients well, but an individual reaction to plant extracts is possible.

If your skin tends to be sensitive or you are trying the product for the first time, it is sensible to start with a small area — for example the inside of the wrist — and wait a few hours before applying it to a larger area. This is standard practice for any new cosmetic product with active plant ingredients.

If the skin is damaged, visibly irritated or has weeping areas, it is better to postpone use until the skin has recovered.

For children, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding, it is sensible to consult a specialist before using any cosmetic products with plant ingredients — not because the product is known to be unsafe, but because individual tolerance in these cases needs to be assessed separately.
