Can this cream-balm be used on very sensitive skin or if there are cracks?

The cream-balm contains ingredients traditionally considered suitable for sensitive skin: niacinamide helps strengthen barrier functions and reduce reactivity, while emollients create a protective layer without harsh effects. Nevertheless, individual reactions to any cosmetic product are unpredictable.

For sensitive skin, it is recommended to:

• Apply a small amount of the product to the inside of the elbow or the wrist and wait 24 hours — this is the standard way to check for a reaction before full use.
• Avoid applying it to weeping areas, open cracks or areas of pronounced inflammation — a damaged barrier increases the risk of irritation from any cosmetic product.
• If there are shallow dry cracks (for example, on the heels), it can be applied, but keep an eye on how it feels during the first few applications.

If skin changes are persistent, getting worse or accompanied by itching and inflammation, it is sensible to consult a dermatologist before using any cosmetic products. The cream-balm is a cosmetic care product and is not intended to treat skin diseases.
