The card says nothing about staining dishes and hands: it only describes the ground turmeric root (100 g, composition — turmeric 100%) as giving dishes a rich aroma and a bright golden-yellow-orange shade.

General tips (not a manufacturer's instruction): turmeric persistently stains plastic containers, wooden spoons, light worktops, fabric and skin, so it is better to use glass or metal dishes and to work with gloves; wipe spilled powder up immediately with a damp cloth while the stain is fresh; on fabric, it is worth rinsing the stain with cold water and treating it with a stain remover before washing (hot water can set the pigment); a small amount of powder is enough in dishes — a pinch is enough to colour a pot of rice or soup.
