Although Herbin with ginseng and royal jelly is a supplement rather than a medicine, there is a clear set of situations in which it is better to avoid it or to consult a doctor first.
Allergy to bee products is one of the main restrictions. The honey and royal jelly it contains are bee products, and in people who are allergic to honey, propolis or bee venom, the reaction can be serious. If you have this kind of sensitivity, this product is not suitable for you.
Increased nervous excitability and sensitivity to stimulants. The product is contraindicated in cases of increased nervous excitability: ginseng has a tonic effect, and in people with anxiety, sleep disorders or a marked sensitivity to stimulants, it may make these conditions worse.
High blood pressure. The product is contraindicated in hypertension, and if your blood pressure is unstable, the tonic properties of ginseng call for caution.
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, age under 16. The product is contraindicated for pregnant and breastfeeding women and is not recommended for children under 16.
Chronic conditions and medication. The product is contraindicated in hyperthyroidism, Addison's disease and acute infectious diseases. Ginseng can interact with a number of medicines, so if you have other chronic conditions or are on long-term drug treatment, you must consult a doctor.
