Vitamin D3 is better absorbed together with food that contains fat, so the best time is breakfast or lunch rather than in the evening on an empty stomach. Taking it in the first half of the day also fits the natural rhythm: vitamin D is involved in processes that are more active during the day.
As for compatibility with other supplements:
Calcium and magnesium — vitamin D3 helps the intestine absorb calcium from food, which is why they are often taken as part of the same course. There is no conflict between them.
Vitamin K2 — often recommended together with high doses of D3, as it is involved in the distribution of calcium in the body. If you are considering a long course, it is worth discussing this with your doctor.
Other sources of vitamin D — if you already take multivitamins or other supplements containing vitamin D, add up the doses so as not to exceed a reasonable limit.
If you take several supplements or medicines at the same time, consult a specialist — especially if you have chronic conditions or take medicines that affect calcium metabolism.
