When is it better to take these capsules — morning or evening, before or after a meal?

There are no strict rules about the time of day for vitamin D3 — studies do not show a fundamental difference between morning and evening intake in terms of absorption.

In practice, however, most people choose the morning or daytime — simply because it is easier to fit into a regular routine and not forget. Some people notice that vitamin D affects their alertness, so they prefer not to take it late in the evening — but this is individual.

More important than the time of day is taking it with food. Since vitamin D3 is fat-soluble, its absorption improves if the meal includes foods containing fats. The capsule is taken during a meal with water, not on an empty stomach.

A convenient scheme is to take 1 capsule a day with your main meal — breakfast or lunch — and make it part of your daily routine. Regularity matters more than the exact time.
