When is it best to drink this tea, and how should it be brewed? — Rubus caesius, grass and leaf 40gr

As blackberry leaves contain no caffeine, the drink can be enjoyed in the morning, afternoon and evening without the risk of disturbing sleep or causing excess stimulation. In the morning, it can replace black tea for those who want to cut down on caffeine; in the evening, it can warm you up and create a calm ritual without stimulation.

According to the label, 1 tablespoon of the leaves is covered with 1 glass of boiling water, left to infuse for 2–3 hours and then strained. The infusion is drunk 3–4 times a day 20 minutes before meals; the prepared drink is kept in a cool place for no more than 2 days.

Blackberry leaves combine well with other herbs in your home collection: they can be mixed with chamomile, mint or linden to soften the tartness and vary the taste. On its own, the drink is particularly suitable in cool weather and at times of year when you feel like a warm herbal infusion with nothing added.
