TEAVIT dried bilberries are used in the same way as other plant raw materials for infusions: pour hot water over them and let them infuse. According to the label: pour 200 ml of boiling water over 2 tablespoons of dried bilberries, infuse for 5–10 minutes and strain; drink as a warm tea 2–3 times a day.
A few ways to use them:
An infusion on its own. The berries are brewed separately and give a mild, slightly sour drink with a characteristic berry taste.
An addition to tea or a herbal blend. A small amount of berries is added to ready-made tea or mixed with other dried herbs and fruits before brewing – bilberries go well with blackcurrant leaves, rosehip and mint.
A warm drink with honey. The finished infusion can be sweetened with honey or given a slice of lemon – this does not affect the properties of the berries, but makes the drink pleasanter to taste.
It is better to store an opened pack in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and moisture – dried berries easily absorb foreign odours and turn damp. A tightly closed container or zip bag is better than open packaging.
The product is not a medicine. In case of pregnancy, breastfeeding, chronic diseases or a tendency to berry allergy, it is worth consulting a specialist before regular use.
