LEKRASET blackcurrant leaves are a classic herbal raw material that is prepared in a water bath rather than brewed like ordinary tea. You will need a vessel for a water bath and a strainer.
- Water temperature: the leaves are covered with hot water, and the infusion is then heated in a water bath.
- Amount of leaves: according to the label, 2 tablespoons of crushed leaves per 200 ml of water.
- Infusion time: 15 minutes in a water bath, stirring regularly; the infusion is then cooled, strained and, if necessary, topped up with boiled water to 200 ml.
- Intake and storage: the infusion is taken 1 tablespoon 3 times a day; the finished infusion is kept in a cool place for no more than 2 days.
Blackcurrant leaves go well with mint, lemon balm or a little honey — this does not change the nature of the product, but it adds variety to the flavour.
