How do I brew the bur marigold from this pack, and can I adjust the strength of the infusion?

Since the product is loose dried herb rather than fixed tea bags, you can adjust the amount of herb to your preference. According to the instructions, adults use 10–15 g of the herb per 1 glass of hot boiled water, and children 1 tablespoon per 1 glass of water.

The adult infusion is left to steep under a lid for up to 2 hours, the children's one for 10 minutes. The longer it steeps, the more pronounced the taste and the more concentrated the infusion.

After steeping, the liquid is strained. Adults take 1/4 glass 3–4 times a day; children take 1 glass a day, 1 tablespoon at a time. Bur marigold contains no caffeine, so it can be part of an evening routine without the risk of disturbing sleep.

The label gives no method for external use — it only describes taking the infusion internally; if you do use it on the skin, first check the reaction on a small area. The infusion is not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women. It is not used in cases of hypersensitivity to the herb, and if an allergic reaction occurs, stop taking it and see a doctor.
