How should this herbal tea be brewed to get a rich infusion?

Since the pack contains whole berries rather than cut material or tea bags, it is important to give them enough time to produce a rich infusion. Preparation:

  • Pour 1 glass (200 ml) of boiling water over 1 teaspoon (1.5 g) of berries.
  • Leave to infuse for 15 minutes so that the substances from the dense flesh have time to pass into the water.
  • Then strain the infusion.

Adults are recommended to drink 1/2 glass (100 ml) once a day with a meal for 1 month. The infusion is slightly sweet with a light astringency — without harsh bitterness.

Keep the prepared infusion in the fridge: like any water-based extract of plant material, it quickly loses its freshness. Keep the pack of dried berries itself in a dry place away from direct sunlight — moisture and heat speed up the loss of quality of the raw material.
