How should an infusion of LEKRASET lungwort be prepared? — Lungwort herb, 50 g – Lekraset

To prepare an infusion from LEKRASET dried lungwort herb, a water bath is used: pour 1 cup of boiling water over 1 tablespoon of the herb, cover and keep in a water bath for 15–20 minutes. Then strain the infusion and top it up with boiling water to a volume of 200 ml.

The mucilaginous substances contained in lungwort pass into the water better when the contact time is long enough, so the time in the water bath should not be shortened.

The infusion is drunk 1/3 of a cup 2–3 times a day, 30 minutes before meals, usually warm. Combining it with honey or other herbs is acceptable, but if you plan to use herbal blends regularly, it is better to check their compatibility with a specialist in advance.

It is recommended to store the opened pack in a dry place, away from direct sunlight and foreign odours — dried herbs easily absorb moisture and smells. A tightly closed pack or a glass jar with a lid is best.
