The cream is applied to clean, dry skin of the feet — a convenient time is after a shower or bath, once the skin has been dried thoroughly. Another good moment is before bed, when your feet will not be under strain and the cream has time to work.
Apply the product to the whole heel, paying particular attention to the edges and the areas where the skin gets roughest. Massage the cream in until fully absorbed; if you like, you can put on cotton socks afterwards.
When caring for dry skin prone to cracking, the result depends on regularity: a single application gives temporary softening, whereas systematic use — 1–2 times a day according to the label — helps keep the skin in a smoother condition.
If your heels quickly become rough because of open footwear, long hours of standing or a habit of walking barefoot at home, it makes sense to include the cream in your evening routine as a permanent step rather than using it only “when needed”.
If you have deep or painful cracks that persist for a long time, it is worth seeing a specialist — in such cases a cosmetic cream is no substitute for professional help.
