The manufacturer states the ALDOMED AURU is best suited for adults. Children over 3 may use it only with close adult supervision — meaning an adult prepares the liquid, checks the temperature, holds or steadies the mask, and monitors the child throughout the session. The mask is sized for adult faces; on a small child it may not seal well, letting hot vapour escape toward the eyes or skin. Never allow a child to handle the device, pour liquids, or adjust the mask alone. Keep sessions very short (1–2 minutes) and use only mild, well-tolerated aromatics such as a single drop of chamomile or lavender in warm water. Discontinue immediately if the child shows discomfort, coughing, or skin redness. This product is not a medical device and does not treat respiratory illness; consult a paediatrician before using any aromatherapy with a child who has asthma, allergies, or other chronic conditions.
