Is this 50% urea foot mask suitable for ordinary dry feet, or only for very rough heels and calluses?

This mask is intended for very dry, rough and cracked-looking skin on the feet, especially on the heels, balls of the feet and pressure areas where the skin has become thickened. Its key active ingredient is urea at a high 50% concentration. At this level, urea does more than attract moisture: it helps loosen the bonds between dead, hardened skin cells, so calluses and rough patches can soften and be removed more easily with a pumice stone or foot file.

If your feet are only mildly dry or you mainly want everyday softness, a lighter urea cream, often in the 10–25% range, is usually more appropriate for regular maintenance. This 50% mask is better reserved for stubborn hyperkeratosis, persistent calluses from sport or standing work, or heels that feel thick and rough even after normal moisturising.

Use it only on thickened areas of the soles and heels, not on the top of the foot, between the toes, or on delicate skin. Avoid applying it to broken skin, open cracks or wounds. People with diabetes, reduced sensation in the feet, neuropathy or circulatory issues should consult a specialist before using strong keratolytic foot products.
