How strong is the warming sensation and how long does it last?

The warming sensation comes primarily from Adam's root (black bryony), which has a long tradition in Eastern European topical products for its surface-level heating effect. Most users feel a gentle heat begin within 2–5 minutes of application, peaking around 10–15 minutes and gradually fading over the next half hour to an hour. Intensity varies: thinner skin areas (inner forearm, behind the knee) feel it more strongly than thicker areas like the lower back. Applying a thinner layer or massaging it in more thoroughly can moderate the heat; a thicker layer or occlusion (e.g., clothing over the area) will intensify and prolong it. If the warmth becomes uncomfortable, wipe the area with a damp cloth and wash with cool water — do not apply additional product to "cool it down." Because the formula is designed for a distinct warming action, it is not a neutral moisturizer; expect a clear thermal sensation each time you use it.
