How should I store cedar nut oil to keep it fresh?

Because this is a cold-pressed, minimally processed oil, it is more delicate than refined cooking oils. Heat, light and oxygen are the main factors that can change its freshness. The best place is a cool, dark kitchen cupboard, away from the stove and direct sunlight. Always close the cap tightly after each use, and try not to let water get into the bottle from a wet spoon or the side of the cap.

Check the smell and taste before using it, especially if the bottle has been open for a while. A fresh oil should have a mild nutty scent and a clean taste. If it seems stale, bitter, or noticeably different from when you opened it, do not use it. Because the flavour is strong, small amounts are usually enough, so proper storage helps the 250 ml bottle keep its quality longer.
