Wet hair thoroughly, then apply the shampoo generously. The foaming texture is intentional: it helps you spread the pigment evenly through the lengths, which is harder with a cream or gel. Massage to create foam and work it from roots to ends, ensuring grey areas and porous ends are fully covered. Leave it on for the processing time stated in the enclosed leaflet — do not guess or extend the time, as deposit-only dyes continue to build while on the hair. Rinse thoroughly until water runs clear. A strand test is strongly advised before the first full use, especially if you have lightened hair, high porosity, or significant grey. Cut a small hidden section, apply product exactly as directed, rinse, dry, and assess the tone. This tells you whether the burgundy will read as a subtle gloss or a strong red-violet on your base, and whether grey strands turn brighter than the rest. If your scalp is sensitive or you have reacted to hair colourants before, do a patch test 48 hours ahead as well. Always follow the leaflet precautions.
