How should I apply it evenly and what should I watch out for?

The balm is ready to use, so there is no mixing with a developer. The texture is designed for even distribution, which helps the pigment sit more uniformly along the hair length. To get the most even result:

  • Start with clean, product-free hair and work in sections so each strand gets the same amount of balm.
  • Wear gloves and protect your clothing, because direct pigments can stain skin and fabric.
  • Pay extra attention to very light, damaged or porous lengths, since they absorb more colour and can turn out darker than the rest.
  • Distribute the balm evenly from the root area to the tips using your fingers or a wide-tooth comb.
  • Follow the timing and rinsing instructions on the packaging; this source does not specify a leave-in time, so the package remains the reference.
  • Rinse thoroughly until the water runs lighter, and use lukewarm or cool water to reduce colour loss in the first wash.

Before the first application, test the balm on a small hidden section to see how the shade develops on your hair. This is especially useful if your hair is porous or very light. If you have a sensitive scalp, apply with caution and avoid use on irritated skin.
