The oxidative colour system stains both the brow hairs and the uppermost layer of skin beneath them, which is why the outline stays visible for roughly 2–3 weeks. On oily skin or with frequent use of oil-based cleansers, exfoliants, or retinol products around the brows, the skin stain fades faster — often within 7–10 days — while the hair colour itself remains until the hairs shed naturally. Swimming in chlorinated water, heavy sweating, and daily brow grooming with cotton pads also accelerate fading. To extend wear, avoid oil-based makeup removers directly on the brows for the first 24 hours after tinting, and pat the area dry instead of rubbing after cleansing. The castor oil in the formula helps keep hairs conditioned, which can make the colour appear more even as it gradually fades.
