How is walnut oil different from olive oil or sunflower oil, and when should I use it?

NATURALNIE MASLA walnut oil is a distinct ingredient from more common culinary oils because of its production and flavor. It is cold-pressed and unrefined, meaning the walnuts are processed without intensive heating to preserve their original, expressive aroma and composition. This results in a deep, slightly sweet nutty taste that is the oil's primary feature.

In contrast, many olive oils are refined for higher smoke points, losing some character, while sunflower oil is often valued for its neutral profile. Walnut oil is therefore best suited as a finishing oil for dishes where its flavor should stay noticeable. It works especially well stirred into salad dressings, drizzled over roasted vegetables after cooking, added to cold sauces, or used on porridge, cottage cheese, or fruit desserts. It is less suitable for high-heat frying, as delicate aromatic oils tend to lose their character when strongly heated. Think of it less as a general-purpose cooking fat and more as a specific flavor ingredient to broaden your pantry.
