How is this intimate gel different from regular shower gel or soap?

Standard shower gels and soaps typically have a pH between 5.5 and 9, which is significantly higher than the naturally acidic environment of the intimate area (usually around 3.5–4.5). Using a higher-pH cleanser daily can strip protective lipids and disturb the microbiome, leading to dryness, irritation, or increased susceptibility to discomfort.

This gel is formulated at pH 3.5 to match that natural acidity. Its cleansing action comes from micelles — tiny spherical structures that attract and lift away sweat, discharge, and residue without relying on strong anionic surfactants like SLS or SLES. The formula is also soap-free and alcohol-free, which reduces the risk of that tight, stripped feeling after rinsing.

Aloe vera adds a moisturising, soothing layer, while lactic acid helps maintain the low pH during the product's shelf life and on the skin. It’s designed for the external vulvar area only — not for internal use — and can be used daily, after exercise, or in warm weather when the area feels less fresh.
