Each box contains three 20 g sachets; use only what you need for the area you’re colouring (roots, lengths, or full head). In a non‑metallic bowl, stir the powder with warm water (about 50–60 °C) until you have a smooth, yogurt‑thick paste. Let it sit covered for 30–60 minutes at room temperature — this resting period allows the lawsone dye in henna to release fully. While waiting, wash hair with a gentle shampoo (no conditioner) and towel‑dry so it’s damp but not dripping. Section the hair and apply the paste evenly from roots to ends using a brush or gloved hands. Cover with a shower cap or cling film and wrap a towel around to retain heat, which helps colour uptake. Leave for 1–3 hours depending on desired intensity; longer time deepens the red tone. Rinse thoroughly with water only — avoid shampoo for 24–48 hours to let the colour oxidise and set. The shade will continue to develop over the next day or two.
