What is cynarin, and why does it matter in the formula?

Cynarin is a natural compound found mainly in artichoke leaves and regarded as one of its characteristic components. It is cynarin that is traditionally linked to the artichoke’s effect on bile secretion: it promotes a more active flow of bile, which is needed to break down fats in the digestive tract.

In EVALAR tablets, cynarin is present as part of the artichoke leaf extract, together with other active substances — chlorogenic and caffeic acids. These compounds belong to the polyphenol group and together make up the supplement’s plant profile. Artichoke leaves also contain inulin, a polysaccharide associated with carbohydrate and lipid metabolism; it is not a separate ingredient of the tablets.

The tablet form provides a concentrated amount of plant material without having to prepare infusions or decoctions — convenient for those who want to fit artichoke into their everyday diet without extra effort.

The supplement is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent disease. If you have a chronic condition or take medication, consult a doctor before use.
