Can the turmeric stain my skin, towels, or bathroom surfaces, and how do I prevent it?

Turmeric's natural curcuminoids are intensely yellow and can transfer temporarily. On skin, any tint fades within a few hours and is removed completely by a second thorough rinse or a gentle cleansing wipe. To avoid staining towels, use a dark-coloured or old face cloth for the final pat-dry, or rinse until the water runs completely clear before towelling off. On hard surfaces — sink, countertop, tile — the pigment wipes away easily with water and a mild bathroom cleaner if addressed promptly; letting it dry can make it harder to remove. The sheet mask itself is single-use and should be discarded immediately after removal; do not leave it sitting on surfaces. Wearing an old T-shirt or draping a towel over your shoulders during the 10–15 minute wear time protects clothing from any drips. These are standard precautions for any turmeric-based cosmetic and do not indicate a product defect.
