This thyme herb is suitable for simple external use, such as rinses, baths, or compresses. To make an external infusion, use a higher concentration than for tea: about 2 to 3 tablespoons of the herb per liter of boiling water. Pour the water over the herb, cover, and let it steep for 15 to 20 minutes. Then strain the liquid and let it cool to a comfortable temperature.
You can use this infusion as a skin rinse after bathing, add it to a warm bath, or soak a clean cloth in it to make a compress. For a bath, pour the strained infusion into the bathwater and mix well. Always test the infusion on a small area of skin first to check for any sensitivity, especially if you have sensitive skin or are prone to reactions. Do not use on broken or irritated skin.
If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a chronic skin condition, consult a qualified specialist before using thyme externally. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any disease.
